First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain (second) is dedicated.

(Aug.) Architect: Ryder & Fuller. Designed in the German Gothic style, it is located at 633 Centre Street. The church is damaged by fire in 1975, then destroyed by a fire on January 17, 2005. The church is rebuilt and reopens on January 17, 2010.
